Certified Yoga Instructor
Emily has a background in dance, which originally led her to explore yoga. The practice healed her from chronic back pain due to scoliosis and helped her build a more peaceful and accepting relationship with her body. She has been teaching yoga in San Diego since 2006. She loves being active with yoga, pilates, tennis, spin and anything outdoors. Emily has her Master’s Degree in counseling and has been trained to utilize yoga as a medium to heal trauma, stress, anxiety and depression. She is excited to become a part of ACC’s team and offer flexibility/recovery classes on the schedule.
